Help women go back into the working world

I am passing along a message from co worker who is soliciting unused cosmetics to be distributed to women with mental issues. If you have cosmetics to donate, please call me at (416) 729-5353 and I can arrange to have it picked up. At a public place.

Some of you may remember, about a year and a half ago we, as an office, collected several boxes of cosmetics and hygiene items for donation to the Mental Health and Justice Court of Toronto. All the items we collected went to women who are in the court system and who are struggling with mental health and addition issues. Our donation was met with great gratitude from the support workers who struggle to help these women build their self-esteem as they go back into the working world, through their court appearances and mental health programming.

I don’t know about you, but I buy a lot of cosmetics that come with gift packs of free items that I never use. If you (or the women in your life) have any cosmetics, hygiene or grooming items, that are completely new and unused, that you would like to donate to the Mental Health and Justice Court of Toronto, please let me know and/or just drop them off at my office and I will make sure they get into the right hands.
